Did you miss our September meeting?

It's not too late to hear the venerable Ion Sancho.

Mr. Ion Sancho, the former supervisor of elections for Leon County (Fla.), shared a wealth of information about Florida's new election law (SB 90) and how it restricts vote-by-mail and voter registration in Florida, effectively suppressing Black and lower-income Democratic votes.

Our Purpose

To fund, inspire, recruit, support, and train Black Democratic women, to be prepared to serve in an elected, or appointed position in the state of Florida and beyond.

To expand the voting base by registering and educating new and returning voters on the issues that impact their daily lives.

To take positions and make statements on issues of concern for FDBWC members and their base.

To offer training and provide tools for engaging the public in issues of concern of this group.

To endorse candidates and campaigns based on the democratic will of FDBWC.
