One Voice Florida is a 527 Political Action Committee.  It was conceived by four sorority sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in the fall of 2020  by Valerie Brant-Wilson, Vanessa Byers, Cynthia Chestnut, and Dianne Williams-Cox.  It was first launched in February 2021 as Florida Democratic Black Women's Consortium.  Since its inception it has helped candiates throughout the state launched their candidacies and educated voters on an array of topics.   The PAC is not affiliated with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

The mission is to educate voters on why their votes are needed on the local, state, and national levels. One Voice Florida will educate voters through webinars, town hall meetings, editorials, and boots-on-the-ground voter engagement campaigns.
